Unwanted photo blurs are caused by Camera shakes. Camera shake happens when your camera’s shutter speed is too slow to freeze a scene that you are taking the picture of.

Reasons for slow shutter speed include using a lens that has a long focal length and would reduce light reaching the camera’s sensor or it may even be dark.

Here I will be telling you ways to reduce the camera shake and also equip you with some accessories that might help you. So here are the top 2 tips to reduce your camera shake.

1. Adjust Shutter Speed to Prevent Shake.

Adjust your digital camera to use a shutter speed that is reciprocal of your lens’s focal length, lets say your lens’s focal length is 100mm then your shutter speed must be set to at least 1/100th of a second. 1/150 for a 150mm lens and so on. You get the idea.

2. Investing in a Digital Camera Support.

When adjusting your shutter speed, weather you are a professional or just a starter its good to have a camera support. They can be Tripods or Monopods. These Camera supports help keep the camera steady when taking sensitive shots like a Sunset or Sunrise, the beach etc.

There are tons of cheap Tripods and Monopods available for your digital camera, I will list a few shortly which you can get within a day from Amazon.

In case you don’t know much about these supports here is a few lines.
